Freedom81
Can I run my Marcum and firebright lights on a 12volt marine deep cycle battery?... Battery died on my Marcum yesterday, I didn't get a chance to charge it, and I want to go out again.
expl
Cant speak of your firebrites as I dont know what they are and have never used them but yes any 12 volt source will run your flasher,I used to run my old flasher off the truck battery with jumper cables through the door when my battery died. fsnrod
I have used a 12 volt jumper pac I made a wire with cig plug and connecters that work on the dept finder wires you are good for three days on that.
Jeremy airjer W
12 volts is 12 volts.I would run a small fuse on the power side of the firebrights, just in case the wires happen to short on there way to the led's. Firebrights draw less than .050 amps so a 2 amp fuse would be more than enough to allow power to the led's without blowing and still provide protection if needed. Wouldn't hurt to protect the circuit to the flasher as well.
waskawood
12 volts is 12 volts. 12 volt DC is 12 volt DC.
