Scuffed aluminum rim

I need some advice/input on the mobile aluminum rim refinish services. My wife's explorer has a scuff on the 20" aluminum rim. Are these services good? What questions should I ask before I have it fixed? It is not deep but ugly to me. Thanks for any input.

I had the rims on a 1995 S10 Blazer redone under warranty. I dropped the vehicle off a Suburban Chev in Eden Prairie and some guy picked them up and did the work. Don't know his name but he did a good job.

Probably worth it if its a newer car, 20" rims cost a lot too replace. I bet it would look decent. I mean it wouldn't hurt to ask for a few before and after photos from a reputable guy/shop, then you would have a better idea if its worth your $$ and sleep better at night.

We get reman wheels all the time at the shop and 99% of the time they look like brand new. The only problems we run into is sometimes they don't get or miss the radial bends out of the wheels.

Thank you for the input. He thought it would cost about 100 bucks. A lot,cheaper than new and this is a new car. Kinda makes me sick. Gonna send the guy a pic and he said he would get a closer estimate for me. Thanks again.
