Big Buddy RV Quick Connect

Is there anyone else who would like to see a shorter rv quick connect hose. I believe the current one is 12ft long. Seems like a bear when it is very cold and you are trying to untwist it to get it under the front of the portable. I would like to see one 6ft or so. Maybe an online site (bay with an e) has something like that but haven't looked yet. I like the quick connect versus the 5ft screw on type with a filter.

They do make one is just doesn't have the Mr. Heater brand. Google Camco P/N - 57629.

I have not ever done it with a big buddy, but I have hooked up different appliances in the rv this way, is not that just a length of gas hose with 3/8 inch fittings on it that go into the regulator on the one end and the snap coupler on the other? You can obtain hoses in different lengths and make your own.
