Plastic runners

Does anyone know where to get plastic thst can be used on the runners of a skid house? Or what have you guys used?

Check with Horn or Cope Plastics in Fargo, they should have it and will cut it for you.

Otter makes some very nice hyfax runners that you can make fit almost any portable.

Bak, another cheaper way is go to the junkyard and grab a truck bed plastic liner and cut a couple strips and with the ribs you have plenty of room to screw it to the skids. The only thing I would say is that if you drag it on any pavement it won't last long! if you can get something thicker and bevel where the screws will attach you will have some that you can buff off and not have the screw heads digging in as soon!

You could use sheet metal. Comes in rolls of various widths. I would think it'd slide as good as plastic and maybe last longer.
