Hole Locations

I just purchased a 949i hub this season grin . With the extra floor space when compared to a sled, I was wondering what others have found to be the best seating/hole locations for 2, 3, and 4 people? I have only been able to get out once so far with it this year and there were only two of us, so weren't pressed for space.

I really wont have a problem trying different arrangements as it means more time on this ice!

Just curious I guess.......

Maybe not 8 equally spaced holes, but 4 guys could each fish a pair of holes a couple feet apart. Like Juice said, a guy on each side each with 2 holes in each corner. Getting in and out is a pain, though, for the guy by the door.

I think your hub is similar sized to mine, which is a 6'x6'. I don't think four people would be fun, but we have had 3 in many times. I just had three holes on one side, the two corners and one in the center. The heater was between two of the holes. there really isn't a shack that can have more than one person fishing two holes. Its best to just use one hole, or also put out a tip up.

What we do is have everyone get in the house where they are going to sit an place their hat or gloves where they want their holes and make adjustments from there. Seems to work out pretty good and everything stays pretty spaced out
