ATV Trail Permits??

I was out rideing last weekend with a buddy and we went to put gas in the wheelers and the lady behind the counter said that maybe as of May 1st that we might have to get trail stickers for riding on Wisconsin Trails has anybody heard anything about this???

Looks like there is a new trail use permit. $18 per year. Or you can register your ATV in Wisconsin, $30 for 2 years. Do a search on msn for (atv non-resident permit Wisconsin)

I'm all for chipping in a little money to help keep ATV trail systems up and running. I just wish WI would let you put the stickers in the rear of your machine, like MN does, so you don't have all the extra license/tags up front where they look like **** . I spent too much time removing the factory warning stickers just to go and apply a trail license. Thanks for listening to me rant. Ed
