What could possibly be wrong with the water conditions . Now that the landings are clear

besides BP of course, which dnr told me today would be by next weekend. Ramp only! Thats

another story. Water is nice now and still boatable for (riverproless guys) seems perfect to me .

It’s hearsay, but I was told that not too long ago, at that point only 6 teams had been signed up, so I can only assume it was due to lack of interest. A few people made mention to that on the Cabelas King Kat Facebook page and their posts were promptly removed. I can say this with certainty. Not only are the “water conditions” not bad, they are about as good as you will ever find them in this part of the MN during August. Sure there is some mud left over that the high water deposited, but nothing a skid loader can’t take care of in a few hours. The municipalities around here that have been keeping up (Jordan/Shakopee) have zero issues right now and we have been out catching fish regularly (caught a couple nice ones last night).

I’m sort of surprised that wasn’t more of a promotional push for this. I’m about as involved in catfishing related things as anyone and I didn’t hear a peep about this (other than back in Aprl). If I’m not hearing about it, what about people not paying attention?
