rjmiller47
Here's a good one I make and feeds a crowd. good luck.2 cans diced Rotel tomatoes3 lb. Mexican Velveeta1 lb. ground beef1/2 lb. hot breakfast sausage2 tbsp. chili powder1 tsp. cuminCrock pot or 3 qt. covered casserole (for microwave)Brown ground beef and sausage, drain grease. Use pastry cutter or fork to mince. Dice cheese into 1-inch chunks. Mix all ingredients. Heat in crock pot until smooth or heat in microwave 10 minutes on high or until smooth. Serve with tostado chips. Makes 8-10 cups dip.If you can't find Mexican Velveeta use regular Velveeta and add 2 cans of Mexican chilies. NEANGLER
If you want it to stay creamy make sure to use a canned cheese sauce instead of a block cheese like velveeta/Rotel. Go to Sams/Costco/Restaurant Depot or somewhere like that where you can get the large #10 can of it. There will be several to choose from mild to sharp to nacho/jalepeno. Then I just add taco meat, chopped onions, jalepenos and a couple of cans of rotel tomato and green chilies.
BartmanMN
Make this and you will be the most popular person in the office.Brown 1 lb package of Jimmy Dean's Sage Sauge.Add 1 - 10oz can Rotel diced Tomatoes with green Chili's.Soften and add 8oz Philadelphia cream cheeseBlend and keep warm in the crock pot. Serve with tortilla scoop chips. We call it "Crack" dip. Enjoy. Looks like a reduced version of rjmillers, but this is the one that we always eat at family get togethers. JP Z
I'll second the "crack" dip, that is pretty much the exact dip my wife and her family make......might want to double that recipe.......just sayin'
TruthWalleyes
I like your thinking, I knew the best ones involved cream cheese.I usually double, or triple the meat to any recipe (never followed one exactly lol )However, I am a little surprised the crack has no other cheese in it, but the guys will eat it, no question there.
