I don't have the Magnum GT, but I do have a Frabill Thermal Guardian. I have been extremely pleased with it. I use it for spearing as well as angling.

Biggest mod has been mounting downhill skis to it. Makes it easier to pull.

I also use cheap carabiners (2 or 3) clipped to the top pole to hang a coleman lantern when rigging up a rod. The lantern also doubles as my heater.

Jiggins, I have the GT Fortress and really like it. You wont be disappointed. Both three man. Looks like the only difference is a little size difference. If you pull it at with a wheeler or sled you will like the glide trax. If it does not have high fax kit and tow bar it would be a big plus.. Did you get the nice comfy chairs with it.

The sled came with the wheeler hook up and also had a hyfax kit already installed!!!! which sounds like a must already. The only down side i have found was that the bars were not used (mainly the extender bar for the front) and it was rusted together, but a little will power and some WD and its all taken care of. Not sure if i will use the compartments in the skis for anything.... but the house is no doubt bigger than by 6x6 hub style... anyone use thier ski compartments for anything???
