aquafang
Ive noticed on my new lx7 it seems to take a long time for the charger light to turn green. Is it a slower charge then most other chargers? I only used it for 3 hrs yesterday and still was red in the charger after 12hrs. It was plenty charged this morning but on my lx3 it would probably have been charged after only a few hrs.

aquafang
Ya. When i bought mine new it took over 12 hrs before it turned green. Thought maybe low frim sitting on the shelf. And did turn green after 5hrs when after using just over an hour the first time. Im guessing the charger needs to be tweaked to show green at a bit less voltage.Or maybe a 3 led system that shows charge, trickle, and full or tending mode. The red led can be a bit deceiving or discouraging.
wanderlust
customer serviced admitted to me that this is their most common call. the charger is charging the battery completely, it just does't change colors. i think they replace them
Lip_Ripper Guy
They really messed up when they went away from the charging system used on the LX5.
aczr2k
I don't know why Marcum can't figure out how to make/spec a charger, I had trouble with every Dcs charger I had and I am on my second charger for the LX7. Something so simple is pure junk. For comparison my buddy that I sold my FL18 to 6 years ago is still using the original battery and charger.
