Trailer bearing grease - regular and marine

Hookmaster

Question

I have been using Lubrimatic for my boat trailers and have been satisfied with it but only a few stores carry it. I need to repack the bearings in my snowmobile trailer and would like to use the same grease in all. Marine grease would be fine for the snowmobile trailer wouldn't it? What brands are everyone using and available at several stores?

I use Mobil MRGS HTS grease that I purchase from the local gas, oil and LP supplier. This grease is used by the cement plant to lube their equipment that is used around water and was recommended to me by the gas and oil dealer. It does not thin out like the grease I've seen that comes out of bearings that have been submersed in water.

If you like Lubrimatic, use it.
