We have them all over our place but it is interesting to us that during spring and summer we hardly see them around....now and again passing the house down by the lake. Then, when the seasons change, here they are again. We have two on the front suet feeders as I write this. I saved one early last summer that was in the clutches of a feral cat. Fortunate I happened to be there-bird lost some feathers and retreatd to tree top.

I'd sure hate to have one of those things bang me with that bill!!!
