dan z
I know I don't need much heat so I'm looking at heater that are variable with a top btu of 3000 my problem is I am trying to get away from using 1lb tanks. I have a pancake 10lb I will be using. Are there adaptors to connect or am I s.o.l? Even if I have to use a hose I would be happy too. I would just mount the heater up and hook up when needed. Any tips will be appreciated
bobbymalone
I'm not sure I've seen a heater with a max of 3K btu that connected to a bulk tank. I would hook up the bulk tank to portable buddy heater. 4000 btu on the low setting, I think. Then just turn on and off as needed. Plus you can crank the BTUs to 9000 if you need quick heat. Rick G
Little Buddy or a Coleman power cat are both good heaters, the Coleman has a top setting of 3000btu. I use both these types of heaters in my Scout tc. Both these heaters can be hooked to bulk tanks with an adaptor.
