Looking to see if anyone has any possible modifications to the LX7. I cannot stand the carrying case they have with it... last year was my first dive into the marcum waters after being a vex guy.... i give the 7 +1 over the vexilar units however i give the vex guys +1 for carrying capability

I have a LX6 and could not stand the case either so I bought a bare vexilar pro pack and mounted the LX6 on it. The 7 is quite a bit bigger so not sure if it would clear the handle on top but for the 6 it is perfect. I would post a pic. but I can't figure out how to do it from my phone.

I thought for sure we would be seeing a new case option from Marcum this year or at least a hard protective case for the digital units to fit in. I don't think I've seen anything new from Marcum this year at all, but they killed it the last 2 years so I'll give them a brake wink there probably working on something cool that can't live without next year!

I saw one and didn't care for the scrolling digital messages on the screen

the scrolling messages only show when in demo mode. when in normal operating mode the display should just be the depth and the range the unit is set too.
