trailer ice help

my tilt trailer has a plywood bed and it ices up so the fourwheeler can't get good traction when loading. What do you guys use for traction on plywood beds to alleviate this problem? Thanks.

One thing you may not have considered is instead of doing something to the trailer, do something to the 4 wheeler. Put a few short hex head sheet metal screws in the tires. This will give you the traction you are looking for on the trailer as well as the ice. They work awesome on glare ice when traction and turning ability are limited. You can buy ice studs that are designed for this and used for ice racing. They will last a little longer.

Run some 1x4's across the trailer bed.

thanks for the tips, the 1 x4's are what I was thinking, thanks for confirming. I don't like sliding off the trailer or having to winch on. thanks.
