2010 Dodge Journey needs brakes

This may be a dub question but how hard would it be for a guy to do the brakes o my wife's Journey? is there special tools I would need? I am just looking to save a little money by doing itmy self I have worked on my older vehicles. any help would be appreciated thank you

I cant recall any "special" tools to do a front brake job. Just make sure the slides are free and the pads are free in the brackets. The spots under the shims on the brackets like to rust and pinch the pads. Get a good quality pad. NAPA Adaptive Ones and Wagner Thermo-quiets are good choices.
