Random guy
As the law reads per night hunting predators in the winter months; "~using a shotgun"That said has anybody used a gun/scope mounted light on a .12 and if so how does it handle the recoil and shock a scatter gun delivers? Random guy
To add to this what is deemed handheld? Does the light have to be in your hand or can it be mounted to a shotgun that is held in your hand?I did call the DNR and they did the uhmmmm, let me see...uhm, we are going to have to get back to you on that. jentz
I have a light and lazer on a air rifle and a 22 cal. Both light and lazer needed modifications to hold them in place on both rifles. The Gammo air rifle Has more movement than the 22.Was a witch modifiying the mounts so they would be consistant.I'd say with a 12 and the mounts that came with mine Lower midpriced,You'll be disappointed.I was extreamly disappointed with the little kick from the 22. 169Sportsman
I plan on using my kill light on my 20 gauge slug gun. I know a lot of guys use the led style lights on shotguns without any problems. Or you could use it as a headlight like many do. Obvious grey area of the law being the handheld part. I really wish we could use rifles with lights and start using lights in the fall.
