permanent blind?

Is it legal to build a blind on a duck lake? I know I seen them around on lakes just wondering if its legal the reason I ask is my in laws live in front of a duck hunting lake I call it that cause there is no fish or public access and is very easy to take my son there. I read the laws but they are vague it just says it would be considered a public blind I think

If its on a lake they usually become fair game unless posted. Just like a public area with deer stands.

If its built within the legal area of the lake then it is part of the lake and public property. If you want to place the blind on land within your private property then you are fine.

I guess the only thing would be if you somehow own the pond and all the land around it. Then you would have no worry because there is no legal public access.
