Fall bass on Leech

Headed to leech the last weekend of sept. Would like to try out some bass fishing especially in the middle of the day. Any suggestions? Depth, structure, presentation? I have never fished bass on that lake so any info would be great. Thanks

Bass on Leech are shallow the whole year. Find rice/pads/bulrushes and either toss a jig or t-rig into them, or throw topwater in pockets and around the edges. What part of the lake will you be staying on?

We are staying at oak point. Planning to fish walleyes in the morning and evening/night in sucker bay. Thanks for the help.

Any suggestions on colors, trailers for jigs, etc?

I was up over labor day weekend and there didn't seem to be a way to do it wrong. I did well on rapala minnow cranks, flipping jigs, and chatterbaits. Others in the boat caught them on bobbers and leeches or worms. Fair number of walleyes were caught as well. We fished steamboat bay & agency bay when it was windy.

color doesn't much matter. black works most of the time on Leech. So does red and green and blue and brown. crayfish or worm. the fish aren't too picky, you just have to find the stretches of cover that are holding them.
