our Jenn-Air side by side ice maker has some issues. My wife has had a guy out a few times and I haven't been around and he "fixes" it for a few days and gave her some info on pulling the ice maker out when it's acting up and defrosting it but in no time it isn't working properly.

The problem I see is that sometimes the cubes aren't ejected and the brain in the ice maker thinks that the cubes were ejected and then releases water onto what should be an empty ice tray but it isn't empty. The water then runs down until it leaks out onto the floor and we have a puddle there.

Am I onto something that it's an ejection issue or something else? If it's an ejection issue with the cubes can it be fixed by me.
