Deer skull mount

Both look nice.

What's your thoughts on the duracoat?

I really need to do something with my muzzleloader. I take great care of it, but it is soo prone to rusting. CVA Optima.

Since i've got the scope mounted and don't want to mess around with painting it before shotgun season i might wait until after the season to put a good coat of paint on the gun to keep it rust free for many years to come.

Did you do the spray paint system?

I've also got an old 870 wingmaster that i camo taped a few years ago to keep the rusting at bay. That one is deep pitted in areas. I'm hoping that i could clean up the rust enough to apply some duracoat. Not sure how a painted reciever/barrel with look with the nice wood stock though.

Truth here is the shotgun I did it is not a wood stock but you get the idea. the only thing with painting a wood stock is that the grain lines will possibly show threw ,but there are ways around that with the proper prep techniques.

After and all I have to do is install new buttpadd and I'm done.

I wanted to do something a bit different and if I get tired of it I will change it.
