I am a old timer now so hear is my question. if I shoot gamegetters 2018 Aluminum arrows and I switch to carbon what size do i shoot..Thanks ( cant find 2018 anymore )

2018 is a .464 spine. Right between a 400 (.407) & 500 (.531). The 400 sized carbon would probably be the best bet, although a little stiff at your arrow length. You can get around this by shooting arrows a few inches longer and/or adding some brass inserts and heavier points to weaken the spine.

If you wanted to stick w/ aluminum, I'm pretty sure XX75 Camo Hunters and Legacy's are still being made in 2018's. Check around online or call a few local archery shops.

I watch alot of bow hunting videos and see alot of the big name hunters shooting these arrows. That says alot!

All it says is which arrow manufacturer has the deepest pockets! I could come out with a 2 1/2' tootsie roll wrapped in a thin layer of carbon and if I paid them enough, they'd all shoot it! Tootsie darts
