What's working?

Just thought I'd try to give this forum a jump start (seems dead lately). Just wondering what's working or not working for that matter and how the bite is in your neck of the woods? I've been catching some but mostly on the too small size 11-12 inchers on spinners and crawlers. One or two nice ones here and there trolling a crankbait outside of weedlines. I've been thinking about trying some lighted bobbers after dark. How about you?

Just had a really solid day down here in Iowa pitching slip bobbers with leeches to timber. Had 11 keepers biggest going 24".

Spinner with leeches or crawlers pulled 1.6 to 1.8 MPH. That, or Salmo Hornets at 3.2 MPH. SPEED!

When the water was a little colder, trolling a lindy rig with a leech worked really well. But now that the water is super warm (about 80 degrees), the fish are hitting a leech under a slip bobber in deep water

I smacked em pretty good this past weekend. Pulling spinners with leeches/crawlers. Not that deep either. about 12 feet.

I'll be up on a lake northwest of Park Rapids this weekend, sound like leaches and spinners are the ticket.
