Question

I am selling a ifinder H20 gps on one of the sale sites. I have deleted all my Waypoints but can't see how to delete the Recent reference points on that page? People can still bring them up and GoTo them! eek

If I recall correctly, Reference points (Icons) are different than Waypoints, they are not addressable, i.e. they do not have time and date, etc... available.

Delete an Icon

To delete an icon, you must be in Advanced Mode, MENU twice if I recall. You can delete all the

icons at one time, you can delete all icons represented by a particular

symbol, or you can use the cursor to delete a selected icon from the map.

1. Press MENU down; to DELETE MY ICONS|ENT.

2. Press down; to DELETE ALL ICONS, DELETE BY SYMBOL, or DELETE FROM MAP and

press ENT.

Thanks, Icons and waypoints can be deleted on the Waypoint page. But recent references is another page right below it that just lists the last waypoints you activated. The only thing I can think of trying is to add a bunch of odd waypoints which may move all my fishing spots on the reference page down below the amount it saves as shown, and then go back and delete the bogus waypoints again or just leave them since they would mean nothing? I may try that tonight.
