Check for burnt connections in the socket and or the base of the bulb. This is pretty common on gm vehicles and some chryslers. This is also more common for bulbs like a 3157 that have a push in blade style base.

My dad has the very same car with the very same issue. After replacing the bulb several times knowing full well it needed a socket I finally gave in and replaced it. Hasn't burned one out in over a year so far.
