bassin
Found this on the web if anybody is interested in signing to stop the ridiculous regulation changes to the smallies on Mille Lacs. http://savemillelacssmallies.com/
Dylan33
Some of the stuff on the site is ridiculous...launches could harvest 2400+ bass per day? Come on! launches aren't out targeting bass. That being said, I really dislike the new limit on bass and I signed it.
bassin
I thought so too...but whatever. I also doubt the petition will do anything but you never know until you try I guess. I know there has been petitions around for years about the walleye but thats a little more of a complicated situation. This is just the DNR changing a regulation back. Dylan33
mwal- I agree that launches and other individuals will keep bass now, for no other reason than they blame the bass for the walleye downfall on the lake. I hope bass guys make enough noise and the limits get reduced. If this helps, it was worth the time to sign. thanks
pushbutton
No need to get excited......Ma Nature as well as Human Nature have already signed that petition and your smallies are going continue to thrive and be very well protected for many years to come
Markula
I think you're right. They'll be OK especially with that slot. And who knows, if more smaller fish are taken, the overall population may grow in size. Plus think of all the other awesome lakes that have never had special protections.
