SouperStar22
I change new impeller but seems like when I run the motor for more than five mins the overheat alarm still beeping. Yes the motor feels like is hot. Is there other option I can look at to fixed this overheating.
Gordie
Sounds like the pick up tube didn't get into place. That had happen to me when I changed out the impeller on my evinrude a year ago.Is water coming out of the discharge hole on the motor? jentz
Could be the tube? I,d drop the lower again insert the tube into the head, take a hose and tape it to the lower end of the tube, remove the thermostat and run water up the tube and see if it circulating. Some times the rubber gromet at the head gets crushed and wont let water flow.Thats a good way to check circulation.
