2006 Ford F150 door locks

I have a 2006 ford f150 that has door lock and window lock issues. The drivers side door lock won't unlock the doors and roll down the windows. If I open the door the switch will work. All the other switches won't unroll the windows. Doe it sound like a security module?

Sounds like a broken wire(s) in the door harness. When you open the door and get whatever works working will the other things that are not working work with the door in the same open position?

No they do not make a replaceable harness, we they do but you have to replace a good portion of the cab harness too, the easiest this to do is to find the broken wires and splice in a new wire that spans the whole "flex" zone.

I usually pull the harness out of the door and back through the cab. Then repair the broken or almost broken wires with new wire through the flex zone making sure to stager all the connections. If there are more than a couple broken or almost broken wis than I always solder and shrink wrap the new connections to conserve space. A couple wires you can get away with some good heat shrink butt connectors.
