Why shucks...that ain't nuttin. Wait until you stand out in a steelhead river, with a hole in one foot, and the wind blowing straight across the river, and the sleet biting your face, and ice forming in the snake guides to the stage where you have to plunge your rod into the water every few minutes to keep them cleared.

Only thing worse is......when you find out there ain't no fish in that run anyway, the battery in your truck is dead when you get back, and there is no rum left in your flask.

THAT......is a bad day. LOL

Mississippi River post ice out standing on a wing dam fly fishing for smallies, when I miss step on a loose rock and fall flat bottom, filling up my waders, and gashing them on a sharp rock.

A quick run to shore, empty waders, toss them back on and get back into the water before I realize that the waders have hole in them and they are filling back up with icy water.

Oh well, keep on a fishin, the smallies were hot, why quit now...
