2012 Navionics

LaVoi

Question

I noticed on the Navionics HSOforum that they have a 2012 HotMaps Premium chip available, but when you go to one of the retailers websites to order it all they have available is the 2010 version. Is there anywhere online that has the 2012 version available?

As long as it works with your electronics I don't know that I'd worry about it. Do the chips you are looking at have a year on them? Mine does not and I think it was purchased in mid summer of 2011.

The beauty of Navionics is that you get free map upgrades for a year after it's registered. Last weekend I updated my chip with the latest maps, downloaded off the Navionics HSOforum.

Edit: Check Pro Fishing Supply's HSOforum. That is where I bought mine. Purchased online and they mailed it out. Arrived in a couple days.

Thanks for the responses. I was not aware of the free updates for a year. That sounds good. I only asked because it looks like there are a lot of new HD lakes added to the newest version.
