TwinkeeDink
Does anyone have any easy plan for building feeders? I've seen them at banquets, etc. but unsure of any specs or recommendations for best success. Any help is appreciated.
tencountff
Cut the bottom 3rd off of a plastic 50gal drum. Cut a square in the bottom of that. Cut a piece of plywood a little bigger than that hole. Drill a hole through the edge of the plywood and the edge of the hole in the drum and run a bolt w a nut through both to act as a swivel lid. Cut a thin piece of plywood a little bigger than the drum. Screw on 3 3" L brackets to the cut side of the drum, and to the plywood. Cut a hole in the plywood base so you can carry it around. Tom7227
The one that makes the most sense to me has fencing around it. I don't know what it's called but it comes in panels that are 12 or 16 feet wide. You cut it and put it in a square around the feeder. It keeps the deer out to some degree but lets the birds in because they can get through the openings.
