Navionics iPad update is awesome

Just installed the new update to the Navionics iPad app and upgraded to the enhanced map option. Wow, very nice. Looks like they listened to a few of my suggestions to make it more like Lakemaster on a Humminbird. They added adjustable depth offset, shallow water zone setting and an adjustable depth highlight range. Nice!

Obviously I'm not the only one to suggest these additions, but it's neat to see them implemented none the less. Now if I could just view my iPad in the sun

Are you running the actual ipad app or the iphone app installed on your ipad, just wondering about the differences between the two and if the ipad app is worth the extra money.

Running the iPad app. Don't have an iPhone, so I'm not sure about that app and how it compares.

So did you pay the $50 for that? Seems pricey... That's the only Navionics app I see in the Apple App store.

I have had it for a while and don't remember what I paid. It wasn't cheap, but updates are free. The add on advanced map option was about $5

Are you going to the Sportshow? You can check out the app at the Navionics booth. That way you can play with it before you buy it.
