That El Tigre hits a soft spot in my heart. So glad they returned the ZR and Eltigre nameplates.

Yep, me too! My first sled I bought with my own money was a '78 El Tigre 5000, my Dad still has his '79 model, collecting dust.

Hope things go well with the new 600's, then they can build the hype next year for the 8's grin

Just passed 1000 miles on my 2012 M800, original belt. Everyone in our group that has a 2012 or newer sled haven't had any troubles, the only time I hear of troubles are when people get a brand new sled or a brand new belt installed and hammer down, these new belts need breakin time otherwise you'll lose them quick.

You gotta learn to tame the power of the Cat for a little bit grin

My second sled I bought was a '73 El Tigre. 440 Kawasaki free air, Hemi heads... wished I'd kept it. My brother knew which pole shed it was sitting in and I could probably buy it back, that was 5 or 6 years ago. wished I would have pulled the trigger then.

Loved the old tiggers! Glad to see them come back around!!!

Good Luck!

Ken
