very sad deal. saw the video last week. Nice article in this week's outdoor news too. too tragic for words. Just unbelievable, sounds like there was only an inch of ice where he went in. prayers for his wife and family.

I saw him on FSN yesterday catching big browns and cohos. Seemed to be a very good-hearted guy. Always getting peoples' fish out of the hole for them, not vying for the attention of the camera. He was just doing what he loved and you could see it. Hats off to him.
