Power converter and ION charger

Has anyone tried using a power inverter in there truck to charge the ION battery with the supplied AC charger?

i have charged all my hilte battery's in my work truck with a inverter for years and have yet to have a problem even my new lithium battery's so should be fine

Works just fine with mine (400 watt Peak brand).

But any 100 watt should be able to charge it too. The charger is a one amp/36 volt.

(1 amp x 36 volts =36 watts to run the charger)

I have a little cooler/heater that is 12v 60 watts and I put my ION battery in it at 8am the other day to keep it warm and when I went to start my truck at noon it was stone dead. So anyone trying to run an inverter to charge and keep the ION battery warm with the truck not running be sure to start your truck and let it run for a while every couple hours.

Suggestion from ION is 150 watts. Mine is 150, and works great. Nice thing about the ION batteries and the charger is that it takes about 50 mins. to achieve a full charge!
