delcecchi
OK, so they won't be shallow any more. Take a sonar. I would probably start with a three way or snap weight and a spoon, like a doctor spoon or a daredevil, although they really seem to eat floating rapalas too. Troll fairly slowly, watching the sonar to see if you see any fish. Switching from a 19 foot grumman square stern to kevlar really hurt my trolling success in quetico. Vertical jigging with heavy jigs with white tubes can work also if you don't drift too fast.
7mm-08
Ok thanks, I bring a portable fish finder so I will paddle around until I mark fish and then jig. How deep will they be this time of year?
