mag2000 Tecumseh help

I blew it up, actually it did it to itself. One of the nuts and collars that hold the gas tank on, loosened and ended up going into the intake, and doing a number on the piston way down. Needless to say, time to rebuild. I have the tools and know how. But can't for the life of me find the model number..I have a family number, and what looks to be a serial number.

Its a mag 2000, Tecumseh. plastic handles. Help please

just above the spark plug is a number, like TC 300-3296c or TXo49-2147, you might not find a piston, last year I tried several times and there were none, haven't looked this year.

I have the service manuals that cover the tecumseh engines. they are PDF files. If you would like I could send you a copy of the PDF's but would need a email address to send them to.

sea hage; My local small engine shop has a connecting arm- piston assembly on the shelf. But said he can't get just a piston.
