Downloading lx-9 recorded videos

Tried to down load the videos I have on my lx-9, put the sd card in my ipad and the ipad didn't recognize it. Tried my pc and it said it didn't know what program created it so it couldn't play it.

What file extension is on the video file?

I scanned the product manual on Marcum's HSOforum, it makes no mention of file format/extension.

I'm a huge fan of VLC Media Player. It chews through most formats with no problem.

what you need is a critter like this, its slides a micro sd card in and then plugs into your usb port. works for micro and mini sd cards. made by sandisk. I got it at my local mobile phone provider.

I have the camera connection kit from ipad then a sd to micro sd adapter. Comes in handy for viewing trail cam pics too. About $20 from Wally World.
