Vitreus
I was sitting in my fish house the other day, watching crappies ignore my waxworms, and I couldn't help but reminisce back a month or two to when those panfish were just obsessed with crawlers. Has anyone had success with them through the ice?
Scott K
I have used up what I had in the fridge left over from summer. I never had luck with walleyes, or crappies with them, but if I chunked them up in small pieces, sunfish loved it.
Fishin4fun_MN
I have noticed that locally it seems that night crawlers or sitting on the shelves of the coolers jut like they would in the summer...it is odd to me. Not used to seeing this.
CaptSpike
We use them in NH with great success. Pinch off a small piece for pan fish or half a worm for Bass. A better bait is dillies which are bay night crawlers. I prefer those over crawlers but both work.Spike
