Hoey
along with DTV antenne and a converter if needed. Should be no problem getting PBS x 4 or 5, NBC, CBS, ABC, and of course FOX for the game.

Lucky Dogg
You need a hdtv (15" or so) then no converter box is needed. Rabbit ears and I get 46 channels. 400watt power invertor and a 12volt battery and your all set. Good luck!
northerndave
We just put in a 19" led with a dvd slot in the side. We used our dish reciever from home for the first time, it was a bish getting the dish aimed for the first time but now that I've done it once it will be much easier. Vikings/packers, sponge bob, barret jackson car auctions, it's rough I tell ya....
tsande00
I bought a 22" 12v 1080p TV/DVD combo from Amazon. I can get through an entire weekend on the ice with one battery and no need for a generator. It also came with a 110 volt adapter so I can run it in my garage off the outlets in the summer.I don't have dish on the ice but I made a sweet HDTV antenna for $3.00 and get every over the air channel in my area. Not always great programming on during the middle of the day but yesterday I enjoyed some 3 stooges. If I'm really bored I'll pop in a DVD but I think the DVD sucks a lot more juice. This weekend we'll be watching the Vikings/Packer playoff game.

tsande00
Hey Tsand, can you share more about your set up? What brand is the TV you bought through amazon and how did you make your antenna? Any pictures of the antenna you can share?thanks! The brand of the TV is Naxa. I'm not sure if I can post a link but if you search on Amaxon for "Naxa 12v TV" it is the listing with 19 reviews. I think it's going for $214 currently. Definitely more than a regular 110v TV bought at Walmart but it seems like the ability to not have to run a converter saves a lot of battery juice. As far as the antenna. I think I can post a link for that since I'm not selling anything. Check it out: Homemade TV Antenna Plans Only took about 10 minutes to build and most of the parts I had laying around. The Balun can be purchased at radio shack or most big box stores for a couple bucks.
