Can I use my car battery charger, set on 2amp trickle, to charge my Vex battery?

yeah, but it will charge really fast. If it is left on there too long, it can fry the cells. I would recommend either a 900MA or less charger. They are not that expensive, or just get a new battery at the big C and it comes with a charger for it.

I use one that I got from interstate a while back, its 900ma and it works just fine, also use the ones that come with the battery, but they usually don't last that long IMO.

OK, dumb question. I have an Interstate 900MA charger, once it goes into float mode, how long should it be kept on the charger? Or doesn't it matter? Often times I'll just the battery on the charger overnight and its in float mode in the morning.
