Door Frame Ice

Is there anything you can do to keep the ice from building up around the door frame on the inside of the house? Like a spray you can use before you hit the lake?

Also, what's the best to use inside the door latch...mine seems to stick...thought about spraying a little WD 40 in there before the trip this weekend.
