Layout boat wanted

The guy that makes those Carston boats has some hunting land just north of me so I made a point of loooking him up at Prairie Pothole Days. The boats look slick, but spendy. I think that they'd really be great with one of the Go-Devil motors on it! If I was 20 years younger and had the energy to pole it along or if I only had a rich uncle...

Gull, how do you use yours? Do you have a motor on it? Do you push it into the reeds and shoot out of it or just use it for transportation?

GullGuide, what model do you have of the Carstens?I was looking at either the PinTail or the Puddler, or going with the Otter Stealth.

Its not a Carstens, its a converted sailboat which works great because of its low profile.
