erikwells
Poacher driving a black chevy with a topper who stood in the middle of the road and shot two geese Sunday morning, you lowlife. Get on your knees and thank god I did't catch up with you. My wife who is seven months pregnant was on the front porch when you showed what a sportman you are. I know you did't see her and I doubt you would have cared. First of all you were almost in my neighbors driveway (not 500 feet from his house, livestock or my livestock). You hit two but only picked up one because the second bird was inconvenient to retrieve. This alone makes me loathe you. Again thank god I didn't catch up with you. When I left the house to get your plate number my wife was crying (I hunt as well but never when she is home). If I would have caught up with you I cannot say that I could have helped myself if you were as beligerent with me as your actions. Keep in mind there is a reason for these laws 'Safety'. I will be looking for you and hope to see you again.I see you again rest assured you are getting a ticket at best. Sorry for the rant for those of you responsible hunters. I know this clown probably won't read this (my experience is members tend to be very conscientious). I just needed to vent. Thanks
Fisher Dave
Keep your eyes open, the person is probably from the area or knows someone in the area and spends a fair amount of time around. I hope in fact that you do have a chance to catch up with the person. Theres no excuse for what they were doing. The main factor here is that they were way to close to your wife (bystanders) and houses .. The livestock take a far second to people. Hopefully the DNR or any type of law enforcement will eventually catch up with them, doubtful, but we can hope.Hopefully they wise up before someone or something gets hurt. Maybe another property owner will catch up to them .. this is most likely. I hope the owner has a few buddies along to *confront* (to say the least) the idiots. fishermann222
Eric I am sorry to hear that a hunter had to do this in your area. It is amazing how one bad hunter can give all of us a bad rap. I would recommend giving the little information that you do have to the local CO in hopes that maybe he will come in contact with this vehicle at some point this fall. I wish you the best of luck in catching this #*%&$@(. Good luck looking and hunting.
erikwells
Thanks guys. I am a hunter; so condeming all hunters is not my goal at all. Most of us are respectful and make a lot of habitat possible. Have a successful and safe fall.
