Lake of the Woods

Heading up to LOW for opener and was wondering if anyone else out there is going to hunt the big lake too.

Good luck on your trip .. should be plenty of birds around. Im sticking to the central part of the state until the local birds get chased out. I'll make it up to LOW in about a month im sure to help chase the huge flocks of birds around by that time.

Where on "daWoods" are you hunting?
I had hunted Zippel bay on the opener a few years back and got skunked! (1 Canada Goose)
Hunted Bostic bay and sot our limit in no time!

out of Willow Creek on the south shore. I haven't hunted up there since high school, one of my old hunting buddies is back from Japan and wants to go out like old times. Should be fun.

my parents live a half mile from the lake, Dad said last Wednesday the geese started moving in, must have had a couple thousand fly over the house he said. Mallards all over the place too. I can't wait to get up there...this is going to be a long week.
