Rental Spear House?

Never been spearing before have thought I looked very intriguing but not sure where to start going to be in Brainerd lakes area most weekends would like to see what it's all about

I would call up some of the resorts and see if they put out spear houses in the winter, there are TONS of lakes around that area to spear, otherwise if you have a portable fish house already and an auger all you need is a spear and a couple decoys, probably cheaper then renting a house a couple times

I've rented spear houses from both Heath's resort on whitefish lake and oak point resort on Leech. Both were good. Nice houses and good fishing. Heath's is old school with wood stoves literally like he Les Kouba darkhouse paintings.
