Walleye magazines

I just received the FLW Bass Fishing magazine as a replacement for the FLW Walleye mag. Always enjoyed the FLW Walleye magazine. Anyone have any idea or knows of a strictly walleye magazine? Seems like more and more magazines are strictly on-line sites.

I'm not aware of anything that's strictly walleye. In-Fisherman has an article every issue, as do at times the Outdoor News, Midwest Outdoors, Esox Magnum (I think it's called...but I dunno). If there's one that's specifically walleye, I'd be super interested to hear about it.

I don't know if there's enough of a market for any species-specific magazine to make it. Plus, I get sick of reading advertisements, so as much as I love reading fishing magazines, I can't get myself to subscribe to one. The FLW Bass magazine might make it because largies are a popular species pretty much everywhere in the U.S.

First it was losing Walleye In-Sider, now the FLW Walleye Magazine.

Maybe something will pop up with the new Cabela's National Walleye Tour.

They are promoting more media coverage than the FLW had... will that be in print too?

Hard to say.

For now... we're pretty much left with In-Fishermans Annual Walleye Guide.

If video works for you, The Next Bite guys (Gary Parsons & Keith Kavacjez) have very

good shows on walleye techniques and walleye fishing.
