Wheelhouse battery location?

My wheelhouse was set up with the battery storage located outside right next to the propane tank, and it got me thinking that might not be the best thing when the temps fall well below zero. Let me know your thoughts?

Move the battery inside on the floor. If you have a closet or storage area under a bench that would be fine. Cold temps are not kind to batteries especially one that has a low charge.

That's where mine is, under the front bench, out of the way and out of the elements. I've rigged up an inline charger so when my generator is running my battery is charging. Out of site out of mind.

This is where mine are. I put a battery inside where you see the heater vent. That one runs my lights, radio and so on. If you look just to the right of that in the corner, I put 2 six volt batteries hooked together to make 12 volts. Those just run my force air furnace.
