mww24
I was getting all my gear ready a week or so ago. I notice the bottom (points toward lake bottom) of my transducer was all warped looking. Almost like it was heat deformed. I know it's never been burnt by the heater. It sat in my garage all summer which never gets very hot due to being a tuck under my house style garage. It's a marcum VX1. 5 years old I believe. Has anyone else seen this happen? Will it effect it's function? Thanks for any insight.
hunt fish repeat
I would venture to guess some chemical contact, bug spray, bait attractant, coleman fuel...?

Thunderfoot
Turn it on and hold it like 6ft above the ground then wave something between the transducer and the ground. Thats how I tested my vex after it fell off a table lol. Luckily it was in a padded box. Do it over solid ground though, carpet seems to absorb the energy. Good luck!
