Clam Kenai vs Kodiak?

I am looking at Clams Kenai vs Kodiak, the Kodiak is 50 dollars cheaper. T

Anyone have these who can voice a opinion?

This will not be my main house but something for early or late season, maybe get used a 5 - 10 times a year.

I should add that I am 6 foot and north of 200lbs, I dont expect to have to pull it by hand more than a couple of hundred yards at most, more often less than 100 yards.

Where have you seen the Kodiak for cheaper and what price? I've been looking at both as well and find that the Kenai is cheaper. The Kenai runs around $225 and the Kodiak is $300.

i think he's got it mixed up. the kodiak is bigger and it comes with a seat. I doubt it's cheaper.

Kodiak is going to be more comfortable for you to fish out of.

My mistake, the Kodiak is more money. Is the seat in the kodiak that much better? Also the kodiak is only like 2 inches wider although longer out front.

Kodiak is higher and weighs more. I would visit Clams HSOforum to compare both if you haven't already. I was looking at these two, but now am thinking about getting the Jason Mitchell Clam Pro Thermal. I like it's light colored canvas for more light in the shack and the thermal will be nice. Plus it comes with some extras like sled lights, bait bucket, nicer seat, battery bracket and tool kit. Plus a rear door for easy access to your gear. It costs about $400 but I think I'm going to pull the trigger soon.
